Hourly Trail Rides & Day Trips

Spectacular Mountain Scenery
Enjoy a unique vacation experience sightseeing from horseback. Guided trail rides along the spectacular eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains from our riding stables just east of Jasper National Park.
Circle Tours Daily 10 am to 6 pm
Choose from among several well travelled circle tours departing hourly from our stables; 1 hour ride $30/person, 2 hour ride $50/person and 3 hour ride $65/person. During the summer our twilight ride departs at 6:30 pm. Large group rates are negotiable.
Athabasca Trip
A four - five hour excursion (half day trip usually 11 am - 4 pm) with a smokies roast at our mid-point picnic spot along the edge of the mighty Athabasca River. Please book in advance. $75/person or group discount price with six riders $65/person
Wagon & Sleigh Rides
Two hour wagon and sleigh rides with two or four horse teams. Open year round. Group rate of $20/person based on ten people.
Larger Group Rates Negotiable
We can accommmodate larger groups, with 10 to 20 riders of all ages and levels of experience. A horse will be selected for you that will match your level of skill and ability.
Brule Lake Day Trip
As the Athabasca exits the Rockies the river widens into beautiful Brule Lake with sandy beaches and dunes. Weekday tours only, Monday - Thursday, 8 hour trail ride, 10 am - 6 pm with picnic lunch break included. $110/person with minimum of six riders. Please book in advance at least two days.
Brule Lake Sand Dunes
Visit the historic site of the long abandoned Grand Truck Pacific Railway "Park Gate" station building, partially buried in the sand of the shifting dunes along Brule Lake.
Folding Mountain Day Trip
A day spent above tree line on top of Folding Mountain with spectacular scenery in all four directions is an unforgetable experience. Picnic lunch included. 6 hour riding time, 11 am - 5 pm. $110/person with minimum of six riders required. Please book at least two days in advance. Enjoy a barbeque steak dinner at our base camp at the foot of the mountain, $10/person extra.
Folding Mountain overnight camp, either semi- or fully-outfitted, with large wall tents available for cooking and/or sleeping.
Reservations
Reservations for daily trail rides are accepted with 50% deposit by cheque or money order, payable to Larry Delorme. Include the following information on a separate sheet of paper: Trail ride date, time and length, all riders names and weights and children's ages. Fully-outfitted, back country pack trips into Willmore Wilderness. Departing from Rock Lake to Eagle's Nest Pass, weekly August and September. Price range $150 - $185/person/day. Guests supply sleeping bag only.

Our price is negotiable for custom back-country pack trips into Wilmore Wilderness or other foothills destinations near Jasper National Park of various durations for sightseeing, fishing or hunting depending on group numbers and services required (ie. hunter drop camp, hunting guide, camp cook, etc). Guided big game species: 10 day fall hunt elk, deer, moose, big horn sheep, wolf or spring black bear from $6500 CAD plus permit fees.
Reservations
Reservations for overnight pack trips are accepted with 50% deposit payable by cheque or money order, refundable with 30 day cancellation notice less $50 transaction fee. Larry Delorme, Alberta Professional Outfitter, APOS licenced guide.
